Monday April 15th Event: Introducing Sotol, Mexico’s other indigenous spirit

Introducing Sotol, the official spirit of the northern Mexican states of Chihuahua and Durango. Sotol is not technically a mezcal or even an agave spirit! It’s distilled from dasylirion wheeleri, also known as the desert spoon. Why are we tasting Sotol at a “mezcal” tasting? Well, because sotol shares many of the same processes of production with it’s cousins mezcal and tequila. Join us on Monday and learn why Sotol is Mexico’s hottest new spirit!

Join us at Espíritu Monday the 25th at 6:00pm, no RSVP required. Sign up for our mailing list below for more info about future events!
